It worked!
Remember my teachable moment when I took the opportunity to plant the seed in my kids’ brains that drugs and alcohol are bad? Well, tonight after our team got annihilated at the hockey tournament we went to Green Mill for pizza. Mark ordered a beer (read: coping mechanism for getting asses handed to us AGAIN). During dinner Jake announced, “You know, if I drank any of that beer I would barf.”
See, they do put 2+2 together! So… I’ll plan to have the birds and bees discussion when he has a bad bout of diarrhea…
